5.1 Introduction
The LCD2041 is an intelligent display module, designed to reduce the amount of code necessary to begin
displaying data. This means that it is able to display all ASCII formated characters and strings that are sent
to it, which are de?ned in the current character set. The disp
lay module will begin displaying text at the top
left corner of the display area, known as home, and continue to print to the display as if it was a page on a
typewriter. When the text reaches the bottom right row, it is
able to automatically scroll all of the lines up
and continue to display text, with the auto scroll option set
to on.
